Fade In/Out between Layouts Options

Hi Guys,

Probably going to see a few topics from me in the next while...as we build all the new shows.

I have about 7 layouts scheduled in a playlist and I want to see them fade in/out as they go to each one. I know in D3 you could set this easily by clicking anywhere outside your layout and choosing zone>transitions>alpha blend.

This is exactly the same idea I want to do for each layout so they transition nicely into each other while they play out in the playlist.

Hello Drew,

In the Playlist builder module, you can select all of your layouts, right-click and click on properties. At that point, under the "Transition In" field, click on the "..." button and select which Transition you want. At that point, once the content plays out or the timer has elapsed for each layout, they will then switch using the transition you have selected.

Ok sounds good. I actually discovered that before but even set with a 5 second fade they don't fade in/out very seemlessly it appears. Certain elements on the layout appear at different times etc although they are all programmed to start at the top of each layout. Is there a way to set a fade to black? I guess this is more what I'm looking to do...
