Shoichi,

DataDisplay 5 is supported on Windows 7.

Do you have any other products integrated with it; such as ScratchPad or SQLLink?

Thanks.

Hello again Shoichi,

You will find hardware and software recommendations for many of our products in our Knowledge Base:
http://www.omnivex.com/support/knowledge_b...All&SCID=14

All products developed in .NET are fully Windows 7/Server 2008 compatible. Most older applications are also fully compatible without resorting to "XP Mode", though there are a few applications built for Win32 that will experience issues. Here is a list of notable issues with popular products, though more information can be found in the Knowledge Base.
  • Display 3 remote Player upgrade and remote Player registration require UAC to be turned off at the Player.
  • Legacy services that do not include a separate GUI and service executable will not be allowed to run due to the new security requirements in Vista/Windows 7/Server 2008. Application versions of these same products work fine.
  • Control 4 Server uses a back-end database that is not compatible with Windows 7. However, the current versions of Control 4 Director and Player are Windows 7 compatible.
  • WebPad relies on an older version of IIS and it will require an update for full Windows 7 compatibility. At this point we recommend sticking with Server 2003 or Windows XP.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
