Concord, Ontario – September 23, 2009 - Omnivex Corporation, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and provider of enterprise-level software for digital signage networks, announced that their software will be used this week at the Canadian Show Jumping Tournament (CSJT), held in Palgrave, ON, at the Caledon Equestrian Park. Omnivex software will manage digital content on LCD screens at the equestrian park to provide riders and spectators with real-time scoring and competition results. The 5-day tournament runs from September 23 - 27.

Screens positioned in the VIP area, Champions Club lounge and in the public pavilion will present real time results from the competition in a clear visual format. The digital signage system will display the current scores of horses and riders while competition is taking place, as well as to show highlights and results from competition already completed. In addition, schedule information and other important messages will help to inform the thousands of spectators and exhibitors who will be at the Equestrian Park each day.

Omnivex software has been used to manage display networks throughout numerous sporting venues. Most recently, it has been deployed by the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden Arena, by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment at the Air Canada Centre, and at the FIVB Volleyball World Championships in Norway. The Caledon Equestrian Park has been selected as the equestrian venue by the 2015 Pan American Games/Para Pan American Games Bid Corporation. In the past, the Park has hosted numerous selection trials for Canadian Equestrian Teams headed to the Olympic Games, World Championships, and Pan American Games. "The digital signage network will be a great addition to the equestrian park," said Craig Collins, managing partner of Equestrian Management Group, who runs the Caledon Equestrian Park. He continued, "We have some big plans and ideas in mind for the future rollout of the system." With the 2015 Pan American Games on the horizon, the Caledon Equestrian Park will be an important venue for the province and equestrian sport for years to come.

The tournament will see riders compete for over $150,000 in prize money. Competitors will include members from Canada's Silver medal winning Olympic show jumping team, including Captain Canada, Ian Millar. The reigning 2008 World Champion and Individual Gold medal winner from the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Eric Lamaze of Canada will also be competing. The tournament culminates with the $100,000 Caledon Cup Final & World Cup Qualifier on Sunday, September 27, at 2 p.m.
