Las Vegas, NV - June 16, 2009 - During the semi-annual Omnivex Value Added Reseller (VAR) roundtable, Omnivex Certified Reseller Hatteland Vision AS of Norway was presented with the Award for Omnivex Reseller of the Year. Omnivex recognizes their top performing VAR based on annual sales revenues each calendar year. This is the second consecutive year that Hatteland has received this honor.

Fjord1 Song Billag uses Omnivex software to display location specific digital signage content onboard their buses. The system was recognized with the 2008 DIGI Award for Best Digital Signage Rollout in a Public Venue.

Additionally, Hatteland deployed Omnivex digital signage software on Fjord1 Song Billag’s buses. Fjord1 is a transportation network operator whose services span ferries, ships, trucks and buses. Hatteland created a solution for Fjord1 using Omnivex software which enabled digital signage content on the buses to be triggered using the GPS coordinates of each moving bus. By highlighting points of interest and displaying information about the local area the bus is traveling through, content is always relevant to the passengers on the bus. The system was recognized by the digital signage industry with the DIGI Award for Excellence in Technology – Best Digital Signage Rollout in a Public Venue.
