Concord, Ontario – March 28, 2008 - Omnivex, a leading digital signage software company, announced today that it received an Award of Excellence in the 2007 Society for Technical Communication's (STC) Eastern Ontario chapter competition. The STC competition is open to all information developers and recognizes a high level of technical communications for all types of media.

Technical professionals from across Ontario gathered in Ottawa, Ontario on March 26 at the STC Awards ceremony to recognize outstanding technical writing. Awards were presented in three different categories: online communication, technical art, and technical publications. Omnivex was granted the Award of Excellence for Online Communication based on their submission of the software manual for the design module of their digital signage software – Omnivex Display 3 Director. Dana Kelly, an Information Developer for Omnivex, was at the ceremony to accept the award.
