He discusses the future trend toward hosting digital signage networks in the cloud for the business and operational benefits it will provide, including improved scalability, performance and reduced costs. He also addresses the potential challenges and security risks businesses may encounter when moving to this model and the ways to effectively overcome them.
Omnivex President, Jeff Collard, takes time at InfoComm 2011 to discuss the ability of Moxie software to deliver real-time data to end users. He illustrates this using a menuboard station at the Omnivex booth where pricing, language and other key details can be updated instantly. By pulling information from a standard data source, in this case a POS system, Moxie makes managing even the largest QSR networks simpler.
