Summary

This article lists the new features and changes in Moxie version 6.02. It is intended for anyone planning to upgrade their installation of Moxie 6.01. All Moxie components including the Data Server, Player, Studio and all related modules must be upgraded to 6.02 for proper operation.

Version 6.02 of Moxie includes several new features and changes. For information on obtaining the latest Moxie release, contact Omnivex Technical Services.

New features

Data Manager now shows thumbnails for layouts and certain file types.
Hard drive total size and free space columns added to Player Manager (updated on startup and every 10 mins).
Help button in Studio can now access both HTML and PDF formats of User Guides.
Layout XML source can be viewed in Data Manager.
Sync Manager can now sync layout, playlist and schedule files to the Data Server (must save with .layout, .playlist or .schedule extension).

Changes

Licensing changes by Omnivex Registration (additional players or users) are applied on a Data Server restart.
Significant improvements to the Promotion feature.
(41339) Optimized storage used by content files in Data Server.
Setup removes message storage limit in MSMQ (KB 162).
(41334) Data Manager tree view re-focuses to show all items in folder when expanded.
(41506) Properties dialog opens when double-clicking on a Player in the Player Manager.
