Evaluating Omnivex Software
If you have selected any of the Omnivex FREE Utilities - just click on the "Download Software" button,
and follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the product – no further registration
is required.
If you have obtained a trial version of any other Omnivex product from our sales department, or
through any other means, you can simply run the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions.
All trial versions contain complete product functionality and can be reviewed for up to 30 days after
installation, after which the registration key will expire.
You can purchase the software and receive a permanent registration key at any time by contacting the
Omnivex Sales Department at sales@omnivex.com or by telephone
at (905) 761-6640, or toll free in North America at 800.745.8223.
To download a copy of Omnivex Software, follow these steps:
- Click on "Download Software" button at the bottom of the product page. You will be asked to fill
out a Customer Information Form. If the product you have chosen is available for download directly
from the web site, you will be able to download and run the application. If the product you have
chosen is not available for direct download, an email will be sent to Omnivex Sales, who will
contact you with instructions on downloading the software from our FTP site within 24 business hours.
- Once you have saved the software to your hard drive, you must install the software by running the
setup file. Simply double click on the file and follow the on-screen instructions. Once installed,
the application will reside in the c:\program files\omnivex directory unless changed during the installation process.

Registering Omnivex Software
All Omnivex software products with some exceptions (i.e., FREE products) must be registered.
Registering your product indefinitely unlocks the software's capabilities beyond the 30-day trial
period. You must obtain a Registration Key and use it to register your product.
To register an Omnivex software product:
- You must have the product installed on a PC in order to register. If you have not downloaded the
product, please see Evaluating Omnivex Software Products for instructions.
- To obtain the product's Registration Key, you need the software's Installation ID found in the
application's Help | Register box. This Installation ID is unique to each product and PC.
- Email the installation ID to registration@omnivex.com
and our registration department will issue you a permanent Registration Key provided payment has been received and a
software license agreement has been executed. Contact Omnivex Sales to arrange payment and to receive a copy of our
software license agreement.
Please note that once you register a software product, it is locked to that particular computer.
It cannot be uninstalled and reinstalled on another computer.

Glossary of Terms
Installation ID
A 25 character code generated by Omnivex software identifying a PC based on its
various components; this code is unique to each PC. This key is required for product purchase
and registration.
Registration Key
A code used to unlock trial software to register it as a purchased product. This
code is derived in part from the Installation ID and is what you receive when you purchase an Omnivex
Software product. This code is unique to a particular PC.
Trial Software
Omnivex Software that can be reviewed for a period of up to 30 days after
installation. The Software’s functionality can be extended beyond the 30 days by purchasing a
Registration Key and registering the product.
Unlock
Term used to describe extending a Trial Software product’s life indefinitely. This
requires the purchase of a Registration Key.
