KB100: Your Flash file doesn't play to the end

Symptom

Your Adobe Flash files (SWF) only play for a few frames when you run them in your Display design.

Cause

Your SWF file contains an embedded media file and the time line of your Flash file is shorter than the running time of the media file. If the time line of your Flash file remains set at the default value, it appears as though your file is being skipped by the Display Director and Player.

Solution

When you embed a media file in your Flash file, make sure that the time line of your Flash file is long enough to include the running time of the embedded media file.
