KB295: Your installation of Omnivex Display Player shows that the VideoCapX.ocx file failed to register

Summary

An installation error can occur when installing Omnivex Display Player on a computer running Microsoft Windows Vista, 7 or Server 2008 operating systems.

This error occurs when the installation process attempts and fails to register the VideoCapX.ocx file.
