KB31: How to get support for a new device in Control

Summary

You want to control a device via RS-232 in Control, but it is not currently listed as a supported device.

Solution

We offer support for any device that uses RS-232 communication. In order to add support for your device in Control, we need:

  1. The serial command set (Hex or ASCII codes) from the device manufacturer
  2. A device to use for testing in our lab
