Omnivex is seeking an experienced DIGITAL PRACTICE ARCHITECTResponsibilities for the right candidate will include:

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

Enable customers and partners to utilize Omnivex’s digital communications platform to achieve their digital transformation goals 

  • Consult with clients and partners in order to identify opportunities to impact their digital transformation initiatives

  • Collect and document business and technical requirements, for the purpose of designing solutions that meet clients’ needs

  • Act as the clients’ representative throughout the project planning and delivery process

  • Deliver consulting, training, configuration, and installation services

  • Ensure a smooth hand-off from delivery to Support Team

  • Build lasting client relationships

  • Mentor the Technical Support Representatives – provide guidance on solution design and delivery 

 

Collaborate with sales and marketing in order to win business and ensure departmental alignment to achieve supportable solutions 

  • Design potential solutions, generate project estimates and contribute to proposals.

  • Deliver technical presentations – e.g., demonstrations, conference sessions, trade shows, educational webinars, etc.

  • Identify opportunities for expansion and re-adoption within existing client installations 

 

Secondary Responsibilities: 

Provide critical-issue technical support for escalations and contribute to the technical documentation library 

  • Work with Technical Support Representatives to resolve critical escalated support issues, and consult with the software development teams as appropriate

  • Create and/or update technical whitepapers and knowledgebase articles

  • Participate in emergency after hours on-call rotation 

 

Competencies/Skills 

  • Excellent business acumen, relationship building, collaboration, consultation, attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills are a must

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in technical professional services, sales, or customer support operations 

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with systems integration and implementation of enterprise scale solutions 

  • Experience with Microsoft environments is required – preferably including: 

    • Windows, Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET, Azure, etc. 

  • Experience with the following would be an asset: 

    • PCs and Graphics Cards |  Mobile Platforms | AV Equipment | Networking | Iron Python | Virtualization | Video Streaming
