When upgrading from an older version of Moxie to 6.10, there are several changes to logging that should be noted:
- There is a Moxie Log Server component to install and configure
- There is no longer a Log Viewer module
- Moxie Player has a Client Logging Agent
- MS SQL is required to store your log files
There is a Moxie Log Server component to install and configure
Moxie Studio reports ID 0 when the user submits an exception log to Omnivex.
This happens in certain circumstances where the Omnivex server does not report the correct Incident ID to Moxie Studio.
You want to keep a log of all the communications information when you transmit from your Director to your Player through your FTP server.
Create a log file at the Display Director computer, Display Player computer or both.
