Ink's on-prem sheet data functionality, Omnivex DataStack, was originally developed for airport and other mission-critical clients to allow Ink-based displays to obtain real-time data in the event of an Internet connection interruption.

There is a security feature in Chromium 142 and higher to restrict the ability to make requests to a user’s local network, gated behind a permission prompt.  This permission prompt will appear when a website:
