In most cases these products have been replaced by other products; customers with annual maintenance and support (AMS) can migrate to the new product based on their existing license. Omnivex supports these products under our AMS program. Listed below is the most recent version of each Omnivex legacy product and their supported operating systems. The information below is subject to change. This article is regularly updated.

KB26: The wrong time is showing on your display device

Symptom

When you add the time to your content, the time displayed on your device isn't correct.

Cause

The time shown on your device is based on the time and geographic time zone indicated in the Control Panel settings of the PC from which you are controlling your device. If time or time zone setting on that PC is not configured correctly, the displayed time will be wrong.

Solution

KB29: Your ticker is not updating

Symptom

You are changing data in TickerDisplay, but your new data is not appearing on your ticker board.

Cause

Before you make changes to your content in TickerDisplay, you need to deactivate your ticker board.

Solution

Before making changes to the layout, message or schedule assigned to your ticker board, ensure that your ticker is not active.

KB61: Some of your data isn't appearing on your ticker board

Symptom

When your data scrolls on your ticker board, some of your data items are missing

Cause

You are using data from DataPipe on your scroller and some of your quote data contains commas. If your incoming numerical quote data has commas in it TickerDisplay interprets it as a string, rather than a number. Because TickerDisplay expects all of your quotes to be numbers, it assumes that the data must be an error and skips it.
