If you currently use DataPipe 7 Server and IOLink 7, XMLLink 7 or Datapipe 7 Client, you may experience a connectivity issue after a Windows trust update.
We are investigating a connectivity issue affecting some versions of the Omnivex Data Suite clients (linking products) when establishing a secure connection to a DataPipe 7 Server.
The issue is related to TLS certificate validation behavior on the client. The server certificate remains valid, and we have confirmed that the certificate and its current Sectigo trust chain validate successfully through Windows.
NOTE: Connections between DataPipe 7 Server and SQLLink 4, Moxie clients, or Data Suite versions prior to version 7 are not currently affected.
We are investigating a compatibility difference in the certificate validation behavior used by newer client versions and are working on a resolution.
Impact: Affected clients may be unable to establish a connection to DataPipe 7 Server and may report a certificate trust or TLS connection error. You may see these error messages from the impacted client:

Customer action: No certificate replacement or server configuration change is recommended at this time.
We will provide an update as additional information becomes available. You may contact support for an older unaffected Data Suite client as we work towards fixed updated versions of the Data Suite.
