Changes

  • Proof of play logging mechanism has changed. If you do not use proof of play logs, we recommend that you not install the Log Server component since the Service will add overhead to your computers (see KB307)
  • Countdown clock changed to support additional timer modes (see KB300)

Known Issues

  • IReport returns an ID of 0 to the end user when an exception returns in the Moxie Studio. Unique IDs appear in report back to Omnivex (see KB304)
  • You cannot perform a remote upgrade of Moxie Player on a Windows 8 computer because of UAC (see KB305)
  • Frequently changing bar or column chart properties can cause issues with the Moxie Studio computer (see KB306)
  • In some configurations, a Player restart (not a computer restart) will cause the Player to revert back to the default name "Player (COMPUTERNAME)". The current workaround is to add a Metadata field such as "Location" to the Player Manager Window through the Home/View/Columns option. This also applies to any rules that used computer name in the Playlist Builder or player views in the System Manager.
