KB339: OmnivexEventLog.dll is flagged as a threat by your antivirus software

Symptom

Your antivirus software flags OmnivexEventLog.dll as a threat.

Cause

This is a false positive. The file included with Moxie 7.03 R3 and earlier can be flagged as a potential threat because the DLL is unsigned.  (Moxie 7.04 and higher already includes the signed version.)

Solution

Replace the DLL file with a signed version:

XMLLink 3.08.032 released

A new version of XMLLink (3.08.022) has been released. This version has removed the default auto-refresh on startup, this is now controlled by the data-feed designer from the UI. Also, the Windows Registry linking has been changed from a user-based link to a device-based link in order to simplify a multi-user scenario.

XMLLink 3.08.016 released

A new version of XMLLink (3.08.016) service has been released. This version includes a new page type for URL lists to ingest information from secure web URLs such as RSS news feeds. A single page can contain multiple URLs with common login credentials.

XMLLink security has been increased; by default TLS 1.2 is required for HTTPS connections. Users can deselect this option in "Tools > Options".

XMLLink 3.07.029 released

Minor update to address reported issues when installing an upgrade on some configurations. This issue has been addressed and no other changes have been made in this version.

XMLLink 3.07.025 released

A new version of XMLLink (3.07.025) has been released and it runs as a service on the latest Microsoft operating systems.



We will not be releasing a new application version of XMLLink.  Customers wanting to run XMLLink as an application can use version 3.06.001. Supported operating systems are listed in KB308.
